We walk because our daughter, Everly, was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries (d-TGA) with ASD. We were one of the lucky ones who were diagnosed before birth and had an amazing medical team monitoring us and ready to bring our little heart warrior into the world. While she has had a clean bill of health so far, we know many CHD children grow up needing follow-up surgeries and want to make sure there is funding for research in less evasive procedures for these brave kids.
While there is no known cause of d-TGA, researchers continue to improve technology for early detection and surgical procedures for longer, healthier lives in these little patients. Your donation will fund this research for countless babies as well as so many others affected by heart disease/defects.
