Our DumontCares team is walking with purpose and love this year. One of our own, Ernie, recently suffered a heart attack and is still in the ICU. His fight is our inspiration, and this walk is our way of standing beside him.

 

We are dedicating every step to Ernie’s strength, resilience, and the hope of recovery. By joining the American Heart Association’s Heart & Stroke Walk, we honor not only his journey, but also the importance of awareness, research, and support for heart health.

 

Together, we walk for Ernie. We walk for healing. We walk for hope.

 

Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death. ​

 

It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. ​
