As members of the Advanced Heart Disease and Transplant Team, we witness the struggles and triumphs of individuals battling heart conditions every day. We know that 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital do not survive. In most of these tragic cases, bystander CPR was not performed. Together, we have the power to change this.
Cardiac arrests can happen anywhere—in workplaces, homes, athletic fields, and neighborhoods. The readiness of our community can mean the difference between life and death. We are committed not only to immediate lifesaving interventions but also to the continuous care of patients with advanced heart failure, those awaiting transplants, and individuals living with LVADs (Left Ventricular Assist Devices).
As a team, we walk to save lives and raise awareness. Every walker who joins us and every dollar donated means more people trained in CPR, more groundbreaking research, and ultimately, more lives saved. Our mission extends beyond emergencies; it encompasses the long-term care and innovative treatments that bring hope to patients facing advanced heart disease.
Help us reach our goal today by joining our team or contributing towards our mission. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers and offer lasting support to those on their journey to heart health. Join us in this fight, and be part of a community dedicated to making a difference—one heartbeat at a time.
From the Advanced Heart Disease and Transplant Team, we thank you for your support and partnership in saving lives and transforming care!
