As you know, I’m a heart disease survivor: I had a triple bypass surgery in 2018, and without their research and innovation from the AHA, I wouldn’t be here today. I have been involved with the AHA since and am incredibly passionate about their mission and continuing to fund the work that kept me alive.
But I don’t just walk for myself, I Heart Walk for my family, my two young girls, for my wife. I walk for my colleagues and my community, and I Heart Walk for to break down barriers to healthcare, for people who are food insecure, and I Heart Walk to raise awareness about the dangers of high blood pressure and vaping. Heart disease is the #1 killer in the US, so the mission of the AHA, isn’t just very personal to me, but critical for everyone
