Many of you know I had a heart attack in April. It seemed to come out of the blue. Risk factors for heart attack and stroke run in my family, but it never crossed my mind that I was at risk. Due to the life-saving techniques at the emergency room and in the months following, I am here today, happy to be alive, and taking care of my stent.
I want to help fund research to raise awareness and prevent heart attacks and strokes. Many people are unaware that they are at risk.
