I'll be waking in the UCSF Heart Walk in honor of my family, friends, nighbors, and colleagues, especially those we've lost far too soon to heart disease.
This casue is deeply personal to me. In recent years, I've lost dear friends and a beloved neighbor to sudden cardiac events. That's why i am walking not just for them, but for a future where fewer lives are lost to heart disease.
The funds raised through the Heart Walk directly spport life saving research ad programs through the American Heart Association, including right here at UCSF.
Every step we take and every dollar we raise brings us closer to breakthroughs in heart health.
