While playing soccer 8 years ago, I had a heart attack. A teammate called 911. I received care at Kaiser Permanente that saved my life. I returned to work the next week (and to playing soccer that month).
Others aren't so lucky. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the world.
I'm grateful for my care and encourage you to take steps to be heart healthy. Eat well. Take your medications. Exercise. Support the Heart Walk!
