I will be walking in the USCSF Heart walk in honor of my family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues, especially those we've lost far too soon to heart disease.

This cause is deeply personal to me.  In recent years, I've lost dear friends and a beloved neighbor to suddencardiac evens.  That is why I am walking not just for them, but for a future where fewer lives are lost to heart disease.

The funds raised through the heart walk directly support life, saving research and programs through the American Heart Association, including right here at UCSF.
