Dear Friends and Family,
The past few months have been incredibly challenging for my family and me. As some of you may know, I experienced a mild heart attack in September and have been on the long road to recovery, trying to get back to a sense of "normal."
Over the past month, I've been fortunate to receive unwavering support from my friends and family, and I'm deeply grateful for the encouragement and positivity from friends as well. You've all helped keep me motivated, focused, and-most importantly-low-stress, which has been critical for managing my blood pressure and preventing another setback.
This experience has been a real eye-opener for me. I've always believed I could take on the world, but I'm learning that sometimes life moves at its own pace, and I have to accept what I can and can't control. The hardest part has been realizing that it's okay not to have all the answers or solutions right away. The important thing is to not let that frustration add to the stress.
This past month has shown me just how much I rely on others to help me navigate the challenges that life throws my way-and how essential it is to ask for support when needed.
With that in mind, I'd love for you to join me in supporting a cause that's become close to my heart. Next weekend, there's a Heart Walk, and while I'm not asking for donations, I would be honored if you could come walk alongside us to show support for all those going through similar struggles.
To end on a light note, one of my favorite quotes from a very motivating friend sums up the past few months perfectly:
"When things go wrong, fix it-fast! Shit happens, fuck Murphy and his laws."
This quote reminds me to face challenges head-on with humor and resilience.
I'd love to see you there. Thank you for your continued support!
Love and Friendship,
Robert De La O
