My father and his brothers have all battled heart disease. I've seen the fear in their eyes after heart attacks, heard the incertainty in their voices during doctor visits, and wathced as they made lifestyle changes in an effort to hold on to more time with their families, their friends, their lives.
This isn't just genetics. It's personal. It's legacy. And it's why I'm running this marathon-not just for them, but for every family who's lived in the shadow of hear disease.
Every mile I run is a tribute to their strength, a step toward greater awareness, and a call to action: we can fight this. I'm running to raise funds and awareness for heart disease research, prevention, and treatment-so that future generations don't have to suffer in silence or face the same battles unprepared.
This one's for my dad. For his borthers. For the millons of families out there. This one's for the heart
