I walk for Eric.

My big brother, Eric Ray Aurora, was 25 years old when he suffered sudden cardiac arrest and passed away in November 2016. Shortly before his passing, Eric was diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia called Long QT. Many heart conditions, like my brother’s, are symptom-less and go undiagnosed for years. For this reason, and to honor and celebrate my brother’s life, my main focus for the 2026 Heart Walk is to rally the largest team, to encourage others to get an ECG, and to support learning basic CPR & AED first aid.
