Three years ago, on January 21, 2023, my family's world changed forever. My mom suffered a massive stroke and underwent an emergency craniotomy to save her life. Against the odds, she survived-and that survival is nothing short of a miracle.
Living through her recovery showed us how quickly life can change and how critical early awareness, prevention, and access to care truly are. A stroke doesn't just affect one person-it impacts families, caregivers, and entire communities.
Today, I'm participating to honor her strength, share our experience, and help save lives. By raising awareness and supporting stroke research, education, and prevention, we can help ensure that fewer families have to experience the fear, uncertainty, and long road to recovery that we did.
Thank you for supporting this cause, for spreading awareness, and for standing with stroke survivors and their families.
