2026 Inland Empire Heart & Stroke Walk
Pomona Valley Alumnae Chapter
Nearly 60% of Black women have some form of cardiovascular disease. Black women are also more likely to develop heart disease at younger ages and experience higher rates of high blood pressure, stroke, and cardiac arrest.
When cardiac arrest happens outside the hospital, 9 out of 10 people don’t survive—and lack of immediate CPR plays a major role. In communities already facing health disparities, this reality is even more urgent.
But we have the power to change this.
By raising awareness, funding research, and increasing access to CPR training and prevention resources, we can help save lives and protect the health of Black women, our families, and our communities.
We walk to honor, to for change, and to save lives.
Join our team. Walk with us. Donate today—and be part of the movement to change the future of heart health.
