In early 2023, I learned firsthand that cardiovascular disease can affect anyone, even me. What started as a normal year quickly turned into something life-changing when I discovered that I needed triple bypass surgery. I was one of the fortunate ones who caught it before cardiac arrest. Many aren’t so lucky. Often, survival comes down to whether someone nearby knows what to do.
That experience gave me a new purpose. In 2024, I participated in my first Heart Walk, and it was an incredible reminder of what community and awareness can do. This year, I’m walking again, not just for myself, but for every family that’s been impacted by heart disease or stroke.
I’m also proud to serve on the 2026 Orange County Heart Walk Chair, helping bring local employers and community leaders together to make a difference. Our goal is simple but powerful:
To ensure at least one person in every household feels confident performing CPR, because when it matters most, knowledge saves lives.
Every donation, no matter the size, moves us closer to a world free of heart disease and stroke. Together, we can create more survivors and more stories like mine.
Thank you for your support and for walking this journey with me.
