The American Heart Association is deeply personal to me. In 2017, my mom survived a major heart attack and underwent quadruple bypass surgery. When complications arose, she had to go through it all again the very next day. She spent weeks on a ventilator while her body fought to heal, and watching that battle changed me forever.
Just one year later, my family lost my older brother to a massive heart attack. Two life-altering moments, so close together, showed me how fragile and precious life truly is.
Supporting the American Heart Association is my way of honoring my mom’s strength, remembering my brother, and standing with every family facing heart disease. This cause isn’t just important to me, it’s part of my story.
