I’m raising funds for the American Heart Association in honor of my two daughters, Kennedy and Delaney — because heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, even though most people don’t know it. I want to help change that by spreading awareness and supporting research that protects women’s lives.
Nearly 45% of women are living with some form of cardiovascular disease, and heart disease kills more women each year than all cancers combined. Yet women’s symptoms are more likely to be overlooked or misdiagnosed, and far too many don’t know their risk.
I’m fundraising so my daughters — and all women — can grow up in a world where their heart health is understood, prioritized, and protected.
