In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.

My reason to walk is in honor of my dad, who had a "Widow Maker" heart attack in April 2026. He was the last person I ever expected to receive that call about. Sitting in the waiting room at the hospital as he was in surgery was the worse few hours. Not knowing how he was or the extent of his heart attack was so very scary. Thank god he is so strong and came out of the surgery, and he is now doing amazing. I am very grateful for the amazing team of doctors, surgeons and nurses who helped ensure he got the best possible care and all very fast. It was a reminder of how quick life can change in a matter of minutes. We are very happy to be able to do this walk and have my dad next to me walking it. It will hopefully become a new tradition for us.
