Over the past two years, heart health has become more than just a cause to me—it's become part of my family's story.
One of my sisters survived a heart attack and was later diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Another of my sisters is also living with a heart condition. Watching the people I love face these challenges has changed the way I think about heart health.
Since October 2024, I've had the privilege of working as the Medication Management Navigator in the Advanced Heart Therapy Clinic, where I help care for patients living with advanced heart disease. Every day, I see the strength, resilience, and hope of patients and their families, and it has only strengthened my commitment to this mission.
Recently, I also learned that I carry a gene associated with heart failure, increasing my own risk of developing heart disease. That news made this cause even more personal.
Every step I take in this walk represents hope—for my sisters, for my patients, for my family, and for my own future. It's a step toward better treatments, lifesaving research, and a world where fewer families have to face heart disease.
If my story resonates with you, I would be incredibly grateful if you would join our team or make a donation. Your support helps fund research, education, and lifesaving programs that give families like mine hope for the future.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Every step—and every dollar—makes a difference.
