Hi everyone,
Since 2018, I have proudly participated in the American Heart Walk to raise funds and bring awareness to cardiovascular health, a cause that is deeply personal to me.
I first joined in honor of my grandmother. By the age of 89, she had already undergone open-heart surgery, an angioplasty, and, in 2021, a TAVR procedure. Unfortunately, complications from that surgery left her in a temporary coma and ultimately bedbound. Three years ago, we sadly lost her, but her strength and resilience continue to inspire me every day.
This year, I am walking in her memory and in honor of everyone whose lives have been impacted by heart disease and stroke. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps fund lifesaving research, education, and support for patients and their families.
If you're able, I would be so grateful for your support. If donating isn't possible, sharing this post or simply helping spread awareness means just as much.
Thank you for helping me honor my grandmother's legacy and make a difference, one step at a time. â¤ï¸
