I walk for my daughter. This September marks six years since Cora had a strok at just five years old. At the time we didn't know if she would walk, talk or eat on her own again.

Today, she is in middle school and continues to amaze me with how hard she works and far she has come.

This October, our family is walking in the American Heart Association Heart Walk to honor Cora's journey and help support research, awareness, and other families facing something they never expected.
