As a nurse, I spent nearly 10 years in the emergency room caring for patients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. In 2018, I transitioned into nursing leadership, continuing my passion for supporting patients and healthcare teams.
I never imagined that I would one day become the patient.
At the end of 2022, I was diagnosed with Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT). As a nurse, I understood the diagnosis, but experiencing it firsthand gave me a whole new perspective. It reminded me that heart conditions can affect anyone and that every heartbeat is precious.
I'm walking in the American Heart Association Heart Walk to honor my journey, raise awareness about heart health, and support the lifesaving research and education that give so many people hope. Every step we take together helps create healthier hearts and stronger futures.
Thank you for supporting me and the mission of the American Heart Association. Every donation makes a difference.
Help me reach my goal today!
