Clear eyes, Full hearts, Can't lose!

My son, Adrian, is a heart survivor. He was born with transposition of the great arteries (TGA), a congenital heart condition that required us to face some very difficult and uncertain moments as parents.

Going through that experience was one of the most challenging things our family has ever faced. There were moments of fear, uncertainty, and countless questions about what the future would look like for our son. But through that journey, we also became stronger, more grateful, and more determined to support other families who find themselves walking a similar path.

Today, Adrian is a thriving, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be his dad. His journey has also inspired me to become involved in supporting families and organizations that help children and adults affected by heart conditions.

That is why participating in the American Heart Association Heart Walk means so much to me.
