I'm Walking for My Dad
This Heart Walk is personal. I'm walking for my dad, Lorenzo.
After two heart attacks and living with ME/CFS, he's still pushing forward—and he's walking in the American Heart Association Heart Walk himself.
Watching my dad continue to fight reminds me that we're here for more than ourselves. My faith has taught me that helping others and serving our community is part of our God-given duty.
That's why I've set a goal of raising $5,000 for the American Heart Association.
I'm not asking everyone to give a lot. Give what you can. $5, $10, $20—it adds up. And if donating isn't possible, sharing this page with someone else helps too.
I'm walking for my dad.
I'm walking for families affected by heart disease.
I'm walking for my community.
And I'm walking with purpose.
Donate if you can. Share if you can. Walk with us if you can.
