My life was forever altered on March 30, 1992, when my dad, at the young age of 54, died of a heart attack. For a week prior to his death, he had been ill with what he perceived was an ulcer attack. In retrospect, he was having small cardiac events that led up to a massive heart attack.
I walk to honor his memory. I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
