Marty & I walk in gratitude for our miracle grandson, Ashton DeFer. Born prematurely, Ashton needed heart surgery to survive. He has overcome so much to be where he is today as a thriving 6 and a half year old boy!
More recently, my 96 year old mother just recently received a leadless pacemaker so that she wouldn't get dizzy spells and fall.
Whether it's learning CPR, lifesaving procedures or a pacemaker to help the elderly live more safely, the American Heart Association supports it all! ​
