Sofia was diagnosed with coarctation of the aorta, a congenital heart condition. Before receiving answers, we went from specialist to specialist, desperately trying to understand why my baby was so ill. It was a frightening and heartbreaking journey filled with uncertainty. Eventually, we received the diagnosis, and Sofia underwent the heart surgery she desperately needed.
Today, we are incredibly grateful for our brave little warrior, the medical professionals who cared for her, and every person who supported us during those difficult moments.
