This year I am walking for two co-workers who lost their battle to heart disease, LaShina Jones in 2009 and Bruce Travis in 2012. This year marks 15 years that I have been participating in the Heart Walk.
Heart disease does not discriminate. Cardiovascular disease, better known as heart disease, has no one set type of symptoms or diagnosis.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention CDC, heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women.
Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by 2020. Please help me reach this lifesaving goal by donating today.
Thank you in advance for your support!
