I've joined American Heart Association as an Executive with Heart this year.
While I am fundraising, my drive is really to ensure my friends and family know the the signs of stroke and how to perform CPR.
I invite you to join me at the free Heart Walk in Las Vegas this year held at the Aviators Ballpark. It's a great morning to chat with your friends, family or coworkers while walking the field. It's a great opportunity for your household or your friends to learn CPR in just 60 seconds to increase the survival rate of your loved ones and yourself!
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed due to lack of knowledge or comfort performing CPR. The goal of the walk is to turn bystanders into lifesavers by offering training on CPR. Every dollar donated, goes toward events and opportunities to train in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
I hope you'll join the Heart Walk or donate if you wish to support educating others. We're looking to reduce that 9 out the 10 deaths to a lower number by equipping everyone with the knowledge and comfort to perform CPR.
