Some of you may not know this, but at the end of April 2025, Devon was hospitalized and diagnosed with heart failure. His ejection fraction (EF)—a measure of how well the heart pumps blood—was just 7–10%, compared to a normal range of about 50–70%. It was also discovered that he has a left bundle branch block.

The year that followed brought a lot of ups and downs, unknowns, sacrifices, and a huge focus on getting his health back on track. Ultimately, Devon had a pacemaker (CRT-D) implanted, and after everything he’s been through, we are incredibly grateful to say that his EF is now back in the normal range!

His journey is definitely not over, and there will continue to be challenges along the way, but we are so thankful for how far he has come and for the incredible care he has received.
