The mortality rate for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients is alarmingly high, with nine out of ten individuals succumbing to the condition. A significant contributing factor is the infrequent administration of bystander CPR. However, this outcome is not inevitable.
Cardiac arrests occur in various settings, including workplaces, residences, recreational areas, and communities. The preparedness of our community can significantly impact patient survival.
We must collectively mobilize, take decisive action, and work to save lives. Every contribution will facilitate increased CPR training, support vital research, and ultimately enhance the potential for saving lives. Together, we can empower individuals to become lifesavers.
I am participating in the "Walk to Save Lives" initiative. Your support in helping me achieve my goal is greatly appreciated.
