I am participating in this HeartWalk because heart disease has had a huge impact on my family. In 1966 my niece, Diana Anaya, was born with a heart defect. At the time, there was no technology to repair it and she passed away in 1968. My sister Irene Aguilar had a heart transplant that allowed our family to be blessed with her renewed life for over 20 years. Our son, Seth, was a "cardiac kid" and lived with a heart murmur all his life. We lost him to a heart attack; he was only 35. He did not have classic symptoms and that is why education and research are so important. Our lives have been forever altered by heart disease and I would truly appreciate your support.
I've set my goal to $1000 and I have raised $250 so far. Every little bit helps the whole. Thank you.
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today!
