Hi Friends & Family!
This years Heart & Stroke Walk will be Saturday, May 17, 2025!! I’ll ride my recumbent trike, and those that can’t walk a long distance will be in their wheelchairs, track chairs or scooters!
It will be 26 years since my stroke this year in August! My grand kiddos are getting bigger! Allie is 5 and Brooks is 3! They are growing up so fast! Allie is doing dance and T-Ball and will be in Kindergarten in the fall! Brooks gets to hang out with Ken and me and will be in preschool in the fall! Ken is now retired!
Meanwhile, I stay active with my Stroke & Brain Injury Support Group with Zoom meetings, a monthly in person meeting at Boomerang Therapy Works (they will walk with my team too again this year! Last year they provided us with T-shirts with both our organizations on them), and a monthly lunch get-together! Plus we have a Take Your Brain Out to Play in June, a Picnic in July and Christmas Party in December!
So please help my awesome Stroke & Brain Injury Support Group, The Hard Hats~Restructuring Our Lives After Stroke, raise some funds for an organization that is near and dear to our hearts!
