This year, I am fundraising for the American Heart Association in memory of my Mom, Cynthia Morris and my dad, David Morris. My mom had many years of heart disease and passed away in 2020, and my father unexpectedly died last April. While the main cause of his death was a GI bleed, he ended up having a cardiac arrest that took his life. My parents were everything to me, and my life is now forever changed.
Saving and improving lives can be as simple as taking a walk. And I know I'm making a difference in the lives of others by participating in the Heart Walk.
