As a two-time survivor of a heart event, the American Heart Association mission is very personal to me. My wife, Beth, saved me with CPR and I likely would not be here today if she hadn’t been there. My motivation is simple - my family and I have directly benefitted from the AHA’s mission and honestly, I never thought it would happen to me!
