Hello everyone, I have joined this years heartwalk 2020 in memory of my husband Rene Alvizures who passed away on November 14th, 2019 to an undiagnosed heart condition which led to 2 silent heart attacks which led to scarring in the hearts tissue in the hearts ventricle. His heart was slowly dying and the scar tissue he had complicated things as it led to a disruption of the hearts electrical signal which caused his cardiac arrests. Rene had an immense and beautiful heart. It was incredibly full of love, kindness, happiness, and appreciation towards life and his creator. I want to bring awareness to everyone regarding heart diseases and conditions. Rene never once had chest pain, so it is important to recognize other possible signs before it's too late. Please support me with this heart walk by donating to the heart association and by virtually walking with me at home or in your neighborhood. I am not only walking to honor my husbands memory but would like to mention that my father is a brain stroke survivor. He has recovered but has his limitations due to the consequences of the stroke. I also walk because I know that with every step, I'm making a difference in someone's life. And when combined with a million other Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke. Will you be a Heart Walk Hero with me?
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
