As you likely know by now, each year, I raise money for the American Heart Association (AHA). Both my grandpas passed away from Heart & Stroke related issues, and quite honestly, I am still blown away on a daily basis by all the AHA does. After almost 8 years, that says a lot.

In fact, since the inception of Heart Walk, mortality rates from cardiovascular disease and stroke have plummeted by 45%!
While this is incredible, and achievements we should be proud of, I also know our work is far from over. This past year, we have seen the incredible inequities in our society widened, and health disparities have only increased. Heart disease remains the #1 killer of all people in the US and worldwide. The AHA is tackling these issues head on.
