I am walking the Heart Walk for two people! We are both medical stroke survivors! I am walking the Heart Walk in Honor of Gunther Stannius, former manager at wonderful Sheraton Grand Sacramento! One of his children came home, found him on the floor! It is estimated that it was twenty five hours before he was found! It is my understanding that every once in a while he and his wife come by the hotel, talk with the employees, have coffee with them! My prayers have been with him! I myself have not seen him since his incident, they have told me about him!
UPDATE I hear he passed away year 2017! Okay so seven years since his incident, 2010 to 2017!
I am walking the Heart Walk in Honor of me, Miss Karyn Cheng! I had a Transient Ischemic Attack, dates August 8, 2007 to August 11, 2007! I remember a numbness on my right side! Stayed at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital on Morse Avenue here in Sacramento! As a medical stroke survivor, to me it is important to try raise funds for research to end Heart Disease and it is important to try raise funds to end Medical Strokes!
