I walk because I know that with every step, I’m making a difference in someone’s life, and my own! I really turned into a walker during COVID and am thrilled to keep it up. I have a 6 mile loop in my neighborhood that I try to do at least twice a week, and a minimum of a 3 mile loop every day. It's a great time to get away from a screen, get myself and the dog some exercise, and catch up on my podcasts. And when combined with a million other Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone walking together on June 4th this year!
