I walk because I have seen too many people suffer and die from heart diseases. Having lost my grandfather and father because of a stroke and being a risk candidate myself as diabetic for more than 30 years, I know that I need to speak up and do what I can to help.
With every step we take, we can make a difference and make a change in someone's life. And when combined with a million other Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke.
