Will you be a Heart Walk/Run Hero with me? I had an occassional bout of atrial fibrillation for about 10 years, and then it kicked into high gear. In order to get my heart to stop pounding irregularly they attached the defibrillation paddles to my chest and hit the reset button! A lot like getting kicked by a horse is my guess. It worked to reset my heart rhythm but not for very long. They had to do that twice in one week and then when it started missbehaving again for the third time, we scheduled to have an ablation ASAP which thankfully has been effective to help my heart work properly since then.
