I am walking with the Enlyte Heartbeat Heroes team in honor of my neighbor and remarkable young woman, Bella Flores (pictured here). At the age of 7 Bella was diagnosed with a rare heart condition. Since then she has worked to bring awareness to sudden cardiac arrest. Bella channels her energy into advocating for CPR training and education, as well as “Heart Safe School” accreditation. In 2021 Bella was recognized by the Citizen CPR Foundation with their “40 Under 40” award, recognizing her outstanding dedication to increasing opportunities for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training, as well as increasing access and use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
By supporting my walk, you can help to support crucial research and treatments for Bella and the millions of others with heart disease. Thank you for your support!
