In 2018, at the age of 29, I had a left ischemic stroke and in 2021 I had a T.IA.
I am a 2x stroke survivor that also knows the feeling of loss of loved ones from stroke and heart disease—losing my mom and grandma to strokes and my older brother (age 34) to sudden heart failure.
Without research, I would not have survived and with further research, I can get answers and help others. To this day, my stroke was classified as cryptogenic (cause unknown) and further research can change that for myself and others.
