On August 29, 2019 I lost my father due to complications that stemmed from heart disease
My dad used to tell everyone that I was his baby and it didn't matter how old I was, I would always be his baby. I used to roll my eyes every time I heard him say that ... but I would give anything to be able to hear him say that again today. My dad was a hard worker and did all that he could to support his family. He was still working up until we forced him to retire 10 months before we lost him! And those last 10 months were rough months on my dad and our entire family. To see the decline and pain broke all of our hearts!
My dad left behind a family that misses him, but we have lots of fond memories, laughs and a wonderful example of hard work, persistence and love for all of us to reflect on.
This is why I am not just walking, I’m Heartwalking. My participation in Heart Walk promotes fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day. Please help me reach this lifesaving goal by donating today. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
Thank you in advance for your support!
