In April of 2020, I lost my beloved dad, Craig, to a long battle with heart disease. He was just weeks away from his 72nd birthday. He walked 10,000 steps a day, ate healthy, golfed almost every morning, traveled the world with me annually on a daddy/daughter trip - he was too young, too vibrant and much too full of life and love to have been taken from me and this earth.
I know this family history also puts me at greater risk of heart disease and he inspires me daily to run faster, cook more, see my doctor regularly. This year, I'm proud to add one more wellness check to that list. I hope you'll join me in supporting the American Heart Association's annual Heart Walk. Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
For every person's heart that's been broken by this terrible and all-too-common disease, let's make ours more whole by joining together to fight it.
