I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives. I walk for the ones who were taken by these diseases. I walk for my dad, for my pop, my Uncle Tony, my Uncle Wally, and countless other family members & friends. Most recently, my friend/coworker Carrita suffered a stroke & is now recovering, so I walk for her as well while she recovers. It will be a long road as it is for anyone recovering from this, but I know she has the strength & endurance to overcome it with time.
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. I personally have lost my dad to this disease, my grandpa, and several other family members. Many friends dear to my heart have also suffered strokes or heart disease. We have to change that. Will you help me in this important journey?
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives. We all want that right?!?! I know I do.
This year, as we celebrate the Centennial of the American Heart Association, we will move health and well-being forward in important and critical ways. This relentless pursuit will continue until heart disease and stroke no longer exist.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal and beyond! It will make your HEART HAPPY! =) ♥ and it will make a difference in the future of stopping this. Thank you in advance! I appreciate each & every one of you! Thank you! Thank you! WOOHOO! Let's do this!
