Thank you all for helping me with this great cause! I just received word that this would be my 5th year supporting the AHA.
As I have shared previously, I walk for my grandfather, my father-in-law, family members, and family friends who have been impacted directly or indirectly.
First of all, I hope you are all staying safe during the current pandemic, even with the restrictions loosening up, let's be cautious and safe out there.
I know it has been difficult and a trying time for us all, but this is the time to show our strength and resolve and keep our lives as close to our old “normal” as possible.
With this, I am continuing my affiliation with this year’s Heart Walk. Unfortunately, given the pandemic, I am uncertain if a formal walk will be organized by the AHA as in the years past, but I am committed to personally completing an 8 mile bike ride in honor of the heart walk in September.
I am like most people who have been and/or know of someone who have been afflicted by cardiovascular disease or a stroke. According to the AHA, someone dies from heart disease, stroke or another cardiovascular disease every 43 seconds in this country!
There is a lot of negativity that we have seen these past several month, please help me by paying it forward and doing something good for a noble cause. Help me help those in need and support this great organization find new ways of combatting heart disease or stroke.
Please find below a link to my personal AHA landing page and please click on the "donate" button on this landing page. Everything counts and everything is appreciated. (Note, if you prefer to donate by check, please reach out to me directly for personal arrangements).
