9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this. ?
Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death. ?

I'm a survivior of a heat stroke, led to near death. This took place in my home town of Kochi, Japan of 2016; I was living with my relatives as I was working in our town.
During the heatwave of the season (of which I had no idea); I ended up being hospitalized for over a week and I don't remember a lot. I had to relearn how to walk, lost all my hair, lost all my muscle tone, and my body was shut down. I was Very athetic and since then my body has completely changed. Furthermore, I'm still in recovery and I've come A LONG WAY since then. ?Don't take your bodies for granted, take care of yourselves.
I Walk to Save Lives and give a reminder that we all need a support system.
