Life is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
I am proud to support the American Heart Association, as a member of the American Heart Association: Greater Bay Area Board of Directors, the Executive Champion for the Heart Walk within First Republic Bank, and as someone who is personally committed the AHA’s mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
Last September, First Republic Bank celebrated our continued commitment to health and wellbeing with over 1,300 employees taking steps to move more and walk for their heart health -- incredibly, raising over $470,000 to support the AHA’s critical work. By walking together, we continue to make important strides forward to build healthy workplaces and invest in community-led solutions that will improve overall health and well-being for everyone. And that’s something we can be truly proud of accomplishing.
I am a longtime supporter of the AHA’s mission. And, as some of you may know, walking has made a tremendous difference in my life. The picture you see of me now is the result of my commitment to walk every day. And I am healthier and happier for it.
While last year’s participation and support was incredible and exceeded our expectations in both community engagement and funding support, the AHA’s work isn’t done. Because, undeniably, cardiovascular disease remains the number one killer globally, tobacco use remains the single largest preventable cause of death and disease in the US, and living just one zip code away, could mean a difference of 20 years in lifespan. And so, it’s imperative that the work continue. I am asking that you walk alongside us to improve and save lives.
Can I count on your critical support this year to reach my personal fundraising goal of $50,000? Events like the Heart Walk truly make a difference. Through education and research, the American Heart Association is working to build healthier lives for all!
Thank you in advance for your donation and support!
