My Mom is Why! Life is Why!
I'm making a final push to get to my fundraising goal of $50,000 for the 2023 Heart Walk. The Heart Walk is something I do annually in memory of my mother. This years walk is on September 28th in San Francisco and I'll be heading down from Portland to participate in the walk.
Will you help support me in my efforts and consider making a significant gift to the AHA in honor of my mother today? You can support my efforts by making a tax-deductible at http://www2.heart.org/goto/bkinion where you can make a secure online credit card donation. The funds I have raised over the last eight years have supported the AHA’s strategic investments in health innovation and health equity, working to remove the barriers that prevent everyone from accessing quality healthcare. As champions for health equity, the AHA believes that every person deserves the opportunity for a full, healthy life. This is why I continue to raise funds for the AHA.
As many of you know I lost my mother nine years ago due to complications from a stroke. . I’m proud to honor my mom by continuing to raise funds for the American Heart Association who continues to make advancements in stroke prevention and treatment. Thanks to your past support, I’ve been one of the Bay Area’s top 5 fundraisers the last several years and I’m looking forward to keeping that ranking!
Thank you for your consideration for supporting this great cause.
