“A big heart!” This is a common description of my father, Gautam (Greg) Shah, when people are asked about him.  His warm heart filled a room with his beaming smile and baritone laugh. 

His generous heart was always giving.  He was the constant support for many and was fueled by helping others exceed their potential.  His kind heart was always helping. 

Whether it was families in India, children needing education, or an organization committed to making this world a better place, he was at the frontline offering his help. 

With such a wonderful heart, he was burdened with the physical affliction of heart disease.  He battled this disease valiantly, against all the odds, for many years.  

I continue his legacy in battling this horrendous disease by bringing awareness and helping to make a difference in those afflicted. 

With a full heart, I honor my father’s legacy and continue to strive for ways to live longer, heart-healthy lives.
